Soft against the skin. Warm without weight. Breathable across seasons. Alpaca adapts to the body naturally — not because of what has been added to it, but because of what it already is.
We source our alpaca in Peru, through responsible supply chains that remain closely connected to the landscapes and communities where the fibre originates. We work with two carefully selected grades — baby alpaca and alpaca FS — chosen for their refined hand feel, quiet resilience, and the way they hold their character over time.
Naturally hypoallergenic. Naturally durable. A material that does not ask for much, and gives back more than expected.

We collaborate with specialist partners in Peru with generations of expertise in alpaca and natural fibre craftsmanship — partners recognised for their technical knowledge, consistency, and deep understanding of how fibre behaves over time.
All our materials are fully traceable, developed in collaboration with suppliers operating under internationally recognised standards for quality, environmental responsibility, and ethical production.
In selected pieces, alpaca is blended with merino wool, silk, cotton, or technical yarns — not to dilute it, but to refine it. Structure, movement, durability. Each combination is a considered decision, made to improve how a garment performs and evolves. Alpaca remains the core. Everything else serves it.
We do not treat blends as a compromise. We treat them as a craft.
Our Principle
We do not select materials based on trends.
At DISOAL, we work with some of the finest natural fibres from Peru — including alpaca, baby alpaca, and Pima cotton — alongside carefully selected silk or merino wool when structure or performance requires it. Each material is chosen for its origin, traceability, and inherent quality.
Material is never an aesthetic decision. It is a structural one — integrated into the design from the very beginning, not applied at the end.
What defines each piece is not only what it is made of, but how deeply that material is understood, worked, and respected throughout its process.
